Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure management. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our development processes, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

Network & Security:

• Design VPC segmentation, security groups, and firewall rules for proper network isolation.
• Implement zero-trust security model with service mesh on Kubernetes.
  
  

• Build a unified deployment platform for polyglot backends (Java, PHP, Python for AI/ML).
• Containerize services and orchestrate via EKS/GKE.
• Enable independent frontend deployments with CDN integration and blue-green strategies.
• Implement API gateway for traffic management and cross-service communication.
  
  

• Establish backup strategies with tested, documented RTO/RPO targets.
• Configure HA for databases and critical services with automatic failover.
• Implement rate limiting, throttling, and circuit breakers.
  
  

• Deploy full observability stack: metrics, logs, traces.
• Build actionable dashboards with SLA/SLO tracking.
• Create runbooks, incident response procedures, and drive post-mortem culture.
  
  

✅ 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, with 2+ years senior-level.

✅ Strong AWS expertise with hands-on IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).

✅ CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI preferred; ArgoCD a plus).

✅ Deep Kubernetes and Docker knowledge at scale.

✅ Track record of improving reliability, reducing MTTR, and maintaining 99.9%+ uptime.

✅ Enterprise compliance experience (SOC 2, ISO 27001) is a strong plus.
