Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic engineering team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and driving operational excellence across our cloud environments.

This role requires a proactive professional who is passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Maintain and enhance infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and system management tasks.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure application delivery.
• Implement and monitor DevOps best practices, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure and manage containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Set up and manage logging, alerting, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with engineering to resolve them.
• Ensure system security through access control, vulnerability scanning, and patching.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7 years of proven experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell).
• Deep understanding of networking, Linux/Unix systems, and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, GDPR).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with GitOps and service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
