About The Role & Team

As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be part of the technical design, development and maintenance of applications and systems using existing and emerging technology platforms.

You will take ownership and maintain the Azure DevOps pipelines / CICD workflows and infrastructure (in our development and customer environments), as well as GitHub workflows / CICD pipelines and infra (in customer environments), with implementation and updates whenever required.

 what You’ll Do

• Deploy and operate cloud-native and hybrid infrastructures on Microsoft Azure (primary) and AWS (secondary), including integrations with on-premise enterprise or airport systems.
• Integrate hybrid infrastructures, bridging on-premise systems with cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
• Manage containerised workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including:
• • Cluster provisioning, node pools, autoscaling
  • Networking, ingress controllers, load balancing, and service mesh patterns
  • RBAC, Azure AD integration, network policies, security baselining
  • Observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana
  • Integrating AKS workloads into CI/CD pipelines
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to automate cloud resource provisioning and governance.
• Apply your experience in enterprise integration patterns, messaging systems, and SOA concepts using technologies such as IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, JMS, and XML-based services.
• Apply your experience working with XML technologies (XSD, XSLT, SOAP) as part of integrating with legacy or enterprise systems.
• Apply your experience implementing security controls in cloud environments, including identity, access, encryption, and network security.
• Do and apply Git-based version control, branching strategies, and managing source repositories in large engineering environments.
  

• • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 5+ years of IT engineering experience with a strong focus on cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure delivery rather than application development.
  • Deep understanding of Azure cloud architecture, cloud governance, resource organization, subscription design, landing zones, and operational best practices.
  • Strong background integrating hybrid environments, connecting on-premise systems with Azure cloud-native services.
  • Deep understanding of container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and other CI/CD automation tools, including pipeline-as-code, automated testing, artifact versioning and management, and deployment / environment promotion strategies.
  • Proficient with infrastructure as code, automation, cloud configuration, and policy enforcement.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, including IAM, identity federation, network segmentation, secrets management, and compliance best practices.
  • Strong experience in using Datasets, SQL, stored procedures, and triggers
  • Strong background in Version Control/Management of source code
  • Microservices, ESB, SOA concepts, patterns and best practices (highly advantageous)
  • XML and related technologies, XSLT, XSD (a must)
  • Application design: object-oriented design, design patterns,
  • JAVA, JMS, Spring Framework knowledge or experience would be an advantage
  • IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ
  • Skilled in documenting architectures, producing deployment standards, and contributing to governance frameworks.
