Hiring for a Senior Director - Data & Insights Practice for a scale-up IT client, offering a suite of products and services.

Our client offers a wide range of high-end, business-focused technology platforms and solutions, including a suite of AI-driven Digital Manufacturing Products, Digital Engineering Services, Data & Analytics and AI / ML Solutions, DeepTech Consulting and assorted IT projects, for their global clientele. To strengthen their high-growth trajectory, they are expanding their technology and product engineering leadership team.

Role details:

  • Title / Designation: Senior Director - Data & Insights Practice
  • Reporting manager: AVP - Digital

Role & responsibilities:

  • Lead, recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing technology and analytics teams while building future practice leaders.
  • Own end-to-end service delivery and client outcomes by strengthening delivery processes, resolving escalations, and driving client success and innovation.
  • Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Finance, and Delivery teams to support deal shaping, pricing, proposals, and profitable execution of projects.
  • Drive practice growth by expanding service offerings, building reusable frameworks/assets, and developing new capabilities aligned to customer needs.
  • Ensure financial discipline by improving margins, optimizing costs, and applying Lean and operational excellence practices across engagements.
  • Act as a thought leader for the practice by contributing to brand building, market positioning, community engagement, and industry forums.

Candidate requirements:

  • 18+ years of experience in technology, data, or digital services, with strong exposure to building and scaling delivery practices.
  • Proven leadership experience in hiring, developing, and managing multi-disciplinary engineering or analytics teams.
  • Strong client-facing experience with a track record of managing senior stakeholders and resolving complex delivery or escalation scenarios.
  • Solid understanding of commercial models, project profitability, cost management, and revenue growth in a services environment.
  • Experience supporting sales and pre-sales activities, including solution design, estimations, and proposal development.
  • Strong communication and thought leadership skills, with the ability to represent the organization in customer forums, industry events, and communities.
