Job Summary
As Senior Engineering Manager-QA , We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Engineering Manager with over 14 years of experience and relevant expertise in managing QA teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep technical understanding, and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and customers. This role requires a proactive and innovative individual who can drive technical excellence and ensure successful project delivery He will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that enhance the driving experience and meet industry standards.
Responsibilities -

Leadership and Team Management

Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high- performance work environment.

Manage team performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide continuous feedback and professional development opportunities.

Ensure effective communication and coordination within the team and with other departments.

Stakeholder and Customer Interaction

Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.

Facilitate effective communication between the engineering team and customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

Technical Oversight and Quality Assurance

Provide technical guidance and support to the team, leveraging expertise in various Validation activities & lead Reliability/soak/Load/Performance testing for different product/program across division.

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into the team's work.

Project Management

Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Ensure planning for different program from Quality assurance standpoint. Additionally, track progress, and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.

Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track.

System Understanding and Innovation

Possess a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end systems, including cloud and mobile applications.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team, exploring new methodologies and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency & better Quality product
Qualifications -

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Over 14 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.

Proven track record of managing multi-functional teams and delivering successful projects.

Strong technical expertise in various aspect of Testing/QA and an understanding of end-to-end systems including cloud and mobile applications.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and customers.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
