Reporting to: UK-based founders and technical leads

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Frontend Developer. A successful candidate will:

• Build high-performance, responsive, and accessible web interfaces
• Translate designs and business requirements into clean, efficient frontend code
• Think logically and solve implementation challenges proactively
• Write reusable and scalable component-based code using modern React.js standards
• Communicate clearly in English with UK-based management
• Collaborate closely with backend developers and designers
• Understand frontend security practices and performance optimisation

You will contribute to the design and implementation of user-facing features for web applications used in the UK legal sector. This is a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality interfaces that are reliable, fast, and user-friendly.

This is an on-site role in Mohali with potential for hybrid flexibility based on performance.

The interview process will be conducted in 2 stages, the first will be an informal conversation with the UK based management to assess your ability to communicate effectively in English. This will be followed by a technical round to assess your suitability for the role from a more technical standpoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain modern, responsive web interfaces using React.js
• Translate Figma or design specs into precise, pixel-perfect implementation
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design standards
• Collaborate with backend engineers for seamless integration
• Optimise performance for fast load times and smooth user experience
• Maintain clean, well-documented, and reusable code
• Work on bug fixes, UI improvements, and code refactoring as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building complex frontend applications
• Deep expertise in React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and integration with backend services
• Strong debugging and browser performance profiling skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience working within agile, fast-paced teams
• Strong sense of visual quality, usability, and responsiveness
• Familiarity with Git and frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
• Understanding of accessibility and WCAG compliance and WAI-ARIA
• A keen eye for good UI/UX and the ability to spot where they can be improved

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Laravel-based backends
• Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Comfortable reviewing and improving UI/UX in collaboration with designers
• Experience with Tailwind, Chakra UI, or styled-components
