We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Team, to bring to life new features and support the move of our services and products to modern architecture. You will be working closely with Product Owner, Product Designer, Domain Architect and your team members clarifying business needs and technical requirements and defining how to support them in the best way. In close collaboration with other teams, your team will introduce new features and improvements for catalog pages in the website to provide better experience for more than 11 millions of our customers!

What project we have for you
At our team, our primary responsibility is to develop and maintain public facing pages such as Navigation, Search, Product listing and Product details.
These are some of the technologies/frameworks/practices we use:
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, SASS, Webpack, NextJS, Jest, Playwright.
- Git, Jenkins.
- Kubernetes, Helm, Docker.
- InfluxDB, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus.
- Amazon Web Services and cloud deployments (S3, SNS, SQS, CloudFront, Lambda etc.) with Terraform.
- Scrum, Pair Programming, Peer Reviewing.
What you will do
- Participate in solution investigation, estimations, planning, alignment with other teams.
- Work closely with UI/UX, Product Owner and API backend engineers to build customizable components.
- Partner with the product and design teams to understand user needs and translate them into high-quality content solutions and features.
- Participate in on-going discussions and contribute ideas that speak to project objectives like design, user experience, development, testing solutions, and tools.
- Promote and implement tests automation (e.g: unit tests, integration tests, e2e tests and performance tests).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, development, and deployment.
- Deploy applications on the cloud, using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and Terraform.
- Work closely with the team in an agile and collaborative environment. This will involve activities such as code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, and incident coordination.
- Maintain existing applications and reduce technical debt.
What you need for this
Must have
- Profound experience in developing front-end and web applications (5+ years).
- Deeply invested in broadening your knowledge, learning new things and mastering the ones you already know.
- Highly versed with JavaScript and its modern frameworks (React, React Hooks, Typescript, ES6, Node, React Context, NextJS, Webpack etc.).
- Experience creating and consuming REST APIs.
- Passionate about writing clean, modular, testable code.
- Experience with Atomic design and developing react design system libraries.
- Knowledge about testing tools, eg Jest, Playwright.
- Some background creating A/B tests (Optimizely, Adobe Target).
- Solid understanding of web responsive design: mobile-first and desktop-first strategies, and media handling.
- Understanding of cross browser support and performance best practices.
- Understanding of Web Design, User Experience Design (UX) and Design for Accessibility.
