About Sporteco
Sporteco is building India's largest trusted sports community — a technology platform that connects every stakeholder in the sports ecosystem: players, coaches, parents, fans, clubs, academies, leagues, venues, federations, sponsors, and government bodies. We are currently in the Validation/Pre-Seed stage and preparing to raise capital within the next 12 months.

The Role
This is a foundational engineering hire. As Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be one of the first technical team members building the Sporteco MVP from the ground up. You will work across the entire stack — web, mobile, backend, and data — and your decisions will shape the architecture of a platform designed to scale to tens of millions of users.

You will work directly with the founding team, own large parts of the codebase, and be responsible for both technical quality and delivery pace. This is not a maintenance role — it is a build role.

What You'll Do
• Design and build scalable frontend interfaces in React and React Native across web and mobile
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs in Node.js
• Architect and manage PostgreSQL databases with a focus on data integrity and user data sovereignty
• Implement secure authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and consent management
• Build real-time features — in-app chat, live notifications, activity feeds
• Integrate payment gateways and build wallet/credit management infrastructure
• Work with the founding team to translate product requirements into implementable features
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code and participate in code reviews
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, staging and production environments
• Contribute to architectural decisions that will underpin a platform built for 10M+ users

What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of full stack development experience, with at least 2 years in a product company or startup
• Strong proficiency in React.js and Node.js
• Solid experience with React Native or cross-platform mobile development
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimisation, migrations
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs; GraphQL is a plus
• Understanding of secure development practices — data protection, auth flows, encryption
• Experience working in agile / fast-moving MVP environments
• Ability to work with ambiguity and make sound technical decisions without heavy oversight

Nice to Have
• Experience building multi-sided platforms or marketplace products
• Familiarity with Indian regulatory context — DPDP Act 2023, RBI payment guidelines, PMLA / KYC
• Experience with real-time systems — WebSockets, push notifications, live feeds
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration or experience with LLM APIs
• Cloud infrastructure experience — AWS, GCP, or Azure; containerisation with Docker / Kubernetes
• Prior work in sports tech, edtech, fintech, or community platforms
