Senior Java Developer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable Java-based applications. You will play a key role in the entire software development lifecycle, working on cutting-edge solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
• Work with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product teams.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Security).
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, SOAP, Microservices architecture.
• Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven/Gradle and version control systems (Git).
• Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (Angular, React) is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
