We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant Specialist.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the end-to-end delivery across EQD Regulatory BAU platform including requirement gathering, planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (business teams, product owners, program managers and business analysts) to understand, prioritize, and deliver competing functional requirements.
• Partner with business analysts and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor, guide and direct team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
• Actively contribute to coding, perform code reviews, and provide technical guidance to the team in delivering robust and scalable solutions.
• Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including clean code, design patterns, and test-driven development, to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and performant code.
• Lead the resolution of production issues from the front by managing stakeholder communications, supporting team under tight timelines, helping identify and implement optimizations in application and DB as needed.
• Drive the adoption of Agile and DevOps practices and tools to improve CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  
  

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Candidate should be hands-on with strong programming skills in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with microservices architecture and building RESTful APIs.
• Good experience with messaging systems like Apache Kafka, Solace, IBM MQ
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Proficiency in Docker for containerization and orchestration is preferrable.
  
  

• Proven experience mentoring and leading development teams, ensuring high-quality technical delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and geographies.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver amidst competing requirements across multiple business streams partnering with program managers, business analysts and product owners.
• Expertise in sprint planning, working with Agile methodologies, and tools like JIRA.
• Knowledge of Engineering, Agile and DevOps best practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a global team.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to logically address complex issues.
• Positive attitude, passion for technology, and ability to work effectively under challenging situations.
  
  

• Prior experience in investment banking, particularly in Equity Derivatives.
• Understanding of Equity Derivative instruments (listed and OTC) and their lifecycle.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting systems and trade processing platforms.
