We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join our growing engineering team in Gurugram. This role is ideal for someone with strong Java development expertise, hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices, and a solid understanding of scalable system design. You’ll work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-performance, enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Contribute to architecture and system design discussions, focusing on performance, scalability, and extensibility
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Build and consume RESTful APIs, integrating with front-end and third-party systems
- Ensure code quality through TDD, DevOps automation, and Agile best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java software development
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, design patterns)
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Hibernate
- Hands-on with MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud environments
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Zookeeper, and container orchestration
- Exposure to machine learning concepts
- Working knowledge of Python, Geolocation, and Mapping APIs
- Understanding of BPMN and multi-tenant system design
