As a trusted advisor, you'll forge strong relationships with our customers, gaining deep insights into their business objectives and long-term aspirations. Armed with this understanding, you'll provide expert guidance on how technology can be leveraged to propel them towards unprecedented success. From aligning processes to technology to developing and deploying bespoke solutions, you'll be the visionary architect behind their digital transformation journey. Your expertise in application development and deployment best practices will ensure seamless integration and optimized performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare, run, and monitor test batch efforts in support of application teams
• Extract and load test data
• Participate in release management tasks
• Monitor test batch processes
• Provide first level testing support
• Coordinate test defect resolution with development teams and second level support.
• Working hours will be 8 hours between 9am and 9pm IST, based on shift assigned.
• 24 X 6 on-call support rotation is required

Your keen eye for detail will shine as you analyze requirements, meticulously plan design and implementation work, all while adhering to time, cost, and quality targets. You'll consult with customers on compatibility challenges, such as hardware and operating system considerations, data conversion processes, and training requirements, offering them holistic solutions that align seamlessly with their budgets.

In this fast-paced environment, you'll have the exhilarating responsibility of helping customers choose between multiple applications, including packaged solutions. Required Skills And Experience

• 7 to 10 years of experience in Mainframe Programming
• Proficiency in COBOL programming in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment
• Extensive expertise in Job Control Language (JCL)
• Knowledge of mainframe technologies, including CICS,MQ, VSAM, and DB2
• Test Support experience, including batch and online support, and break-fix support
• Familiarity using mainframe tools, including TSO, ISPF, SDSF, and IZWS Scheduler
  
  

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work/practical experience).
• Take full responsibility for Test batch.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Nice to Have Skills : FILE-AID, BETA, ENDEVOR, GITLAB, IWA COMMAND CENTER, SAP, RALLY
