Role Description:

• Lead and oversee the development of critical applications and systems using .NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL Server.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Develop high-performance, scalable, and secure applications following industry standards. Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based architectures to enable modular and scalable solutions and set standards for communication, logging, and security.
• Ensure high-quality code by conducting thorough code reviews, enforcing standards, and implementing automated testing where applicable.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for SQL Server.
• Drive adoption of new tools and methodologies, such as AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).

Key Desirables:

• 7–10 years of experience in application development with ..NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL Server.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture, including design, implementation, and optimization.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration. Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in debugging and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with Relational Databases (SQL Server) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Cosmos DB). Strong understanding of Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud-native services.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of code quality, unit testing, and integration testing. Experience in Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices.
• Good to have experience in EdTech Domain and assessment platforms.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Solid understanding of front-end frameworks, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
