Senior .NET Developer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET Developer with over 4 years of hands-on experience in ASP.NET, VB.NET, and ADO.NET. The ideal candidate should be proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications, and should have a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Experience in database integration, UI development, and debugging complex code is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and desktop applications using ASP.NET and VB.NET.
• Implement and manage data access layers using ADO.NET for efficient interaction with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Debug and resolve application issues and bugs efficiently.
• Participate in system analysis, design decisions, and documentation.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Maintain version control using tools like Git, SVN, or TFS.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in .NET development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on development experience in ASP.NET, VB.NET, and ADO.NET.
• Strong knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts.
• Proficient in SQL Server or similar RDBMS.
• Experience in web services (REST/SOAP), JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio and .NET Framework versions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in .NET Core / C# is a plus.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework or LINQ.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
