Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in network engineering, hands-on experience with Python-based network automation, and strong knowledge of network monitoring tools and protocols. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures, automating workflows, and ensuring high network performance and security.

- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for automating network tasks (device provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, etc.).
- Implement and manage network monitoring solutions (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Prometheus, etc.).
- Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate new networking technologies and propose improvements for performance and security.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior network engineers.
- 5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Strong experience in Python scripting for network automation (e.g., using Netmiko, NAPALM, Ansible, or REST APIs).
- Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or similar network devices.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols.
- Familiarity with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and network virtualization is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; certifications such as CCNP, DevNet, or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Familiarity with ITIL and network change management best practices.
