Overview
We are seeking an ONSITE IT & Network Support Engineer for casual, freelance-style assignments in your local area. Are you open to contractual, task-based work? Compensation will be offered on an hourly, daily, or half-day basis. Tickets will be assigned based on your location and can be handled as per your availability (weekdays or weekends).
Assignments include L1 & L2 IT/Network tasks such as desktop support, hardware installs/replacements (e.g., hard drives, server/rack components), and assisting remote teams with on-site access to networking gear (Routers/Switches/Firewalls).
✅ Strong skills in Desktop System Administration, Customer Service, Incident/Change/Release Management, and support for third-party software on Windows OS.
✅ Certified in Windows Server Administration and ITIL, with an ability to apply programming techniques for operational efficiency and proactive solutions.
✅ Good grasp of basic networking: DHCP, DNS, IP configuration, wireless LAN troubleshooting, Ethernet setup, and subnetting fundamentals.
✅ Practical experience with multiple operating systems: Windows, iOS, Android, and BlackBerry, with strong troubleshooting capabilities across devices.
