Senior Performance Test Engineer (LoadRunner, SAP HANA) – Hyderabad/Bangalore

About the role

Revolution Soft is hiring a Senior Performance Test Engineer to strengthen performance engineering and performance testing capabilities for SAP‑based systems. You will be responsible for performance strategy, test execution, bottleneck analysis, and performance tuning using industry‑standard tools and practices.​

This is a 6‑month assignment based in Hyderabad or Bangalore, with opportunities to work closely with cross‑functional engineering and product teams.​

Responsibilities

Perform performance testing of SAP applications, ensuring scalability, stability, and reliability.​

Define, develop, and apply performance and scalability benchmarks for critical business workflows.​

Work in cross‑functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance across tiers.​

Use profiling and monitoring tools to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct detailed root cause analysis.​

Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts and scenarios using LoadRunner and other tools.​

Analyze performance test results and provide clear recommendations for optimization.​

Collaborate with architects, developers, and ops teams to implement performance improvements.​

Required experience and skills

• 6+ years of hands‑on software testing experience, with strong focus on performance testing.​

• Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.​

• In‑depth knowledge of performance engineering concepts, troubleshooting, and tuning.​

• Hands‑on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner; exposure to JMeter, SoapUI, or similar is a plus.​

• Experience with APM tools and monitoring solutions for end‑to‑end performance visibility.​

• Good understanding of service‑oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance considerations in distributed systems.​

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.​

Nice to have

SQL and database performance analysis skills.​
Experience with data analysis, visualization, and end‑to‑end performance analysis across the stack.​
Background in manufacturing or similar domains.​

Location and engagement

Locations: Hyderabad (2 openings) and Bangalore (2 openings).​

Assignment duration: 6 months, general day shift, post‑onboarding background verification.
