Senior PHP Developer

Overview

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team for one of our Products, a robust software platform designed specifically for franchise management. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building scalable web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter, with a deep understanding of MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and HTML.

If you have experience working on a SaaS product or enterprise-level software, that is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using PHP and CodeIgniter

● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with thorough testing and documentation

● Work closely with product manager, UI/UX designer, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features

● Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

● Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security issues

● Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing with junior developers

● Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term tech strategies

Required Skills & Experience:

● Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with PHP

● Strong expertise in CodeIgniter framework

● In-depth knowledge of MySQL, including performance tuning and complex queries

● Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and HTML/CSS

● Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control (Git)

● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

● Experience working in agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience working on a SaaS product or large-scale software platform

● Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations

● Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps practices

● Ability to take ownership of modules and deliver results with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
