Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer with expertise in API development, server setup, and deployments for a short-term project in Ivory Coast, Africa. The selected candidate will work onsite for 45 days, collaborating closely with our team to set up and deploy PHP-based applications. Our team will provide guidance, and all expenses, including travel, accommodation, and daily expenses, will be covered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Set up PHP servers and manage server configurations, security, and deployments.
• Deploy and maintain PHP applications in a production environment.
• Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless project execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and security issues.
• Ensure code quality, best practices, and scalability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of PHP development experience.
• Strong expertise in frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Experience with API development and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with server setup, deployment, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean).
• Strong knowledge of Linux servers, Nginx/Apache, MySQL, and security best practices.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and Docker is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to an onsite working environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
