Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior PHP Laravel Developer to join our in-house development team. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Laravel and related web technologies. You’ll be responsible for leading backend development, architecting scalable solutions, maintaining high-quality code, and collaborating closely with product and frontend teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Laravel (v8+ or higher)
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
- Optimize application performance and database queries
- Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and QA testers
- Lead version control practices and repository structure
- Ensure application security, reliability, and performance
- Write and maintain unit and feature tests (PHPUnit or Pest)
- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement reliable fixes
- Guide junior developers and share best practices

Required Skills

- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in PHP with strong focus on Laravel framework
- Deep understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns
- Proficient in MySQL or PostgreSQL with strong database design skills
- Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs
- Proficient with Git version control and Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab)
- Experience with deployment processes, Linux environments, and CLI tools
- Familiar with modern development tools and workflows
- Basic knowledge of Docker and containerized development
- Comfortable writing unit and feature tests to ensure code quality
- Good communication and problem-solving skills

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Minimum of 5–6 years of professional Laravel/PHP experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead backend projects independently
- Must be available for full-time, office-based work (no remote option)
- Strong portfolio or GitHub profile showing real-world Laravel projects

Nice to Have

- Experience with SaaS or multi-tenant applications
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI API (ChatGPT, Whisper, DALL·E, etc.)
- Understanding of prompt engineering, AI model workflows, and GPT integration
- Familiarity with LangChain, Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate), or embedding-based search
- Knowledge of AI/ML service integration like sentiment analysis, summarization, or classification
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean
- Knowledge of modern frontend tools like Vue.js or React is a bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,080,000.00 per year
