Job Summary: This role requires someone who can design and build high quality Python services, connectors, plugins, and automation utilities that integrate with Alteryx, Powerkl Snowflake, DataZone, and other firm platforms. You will also help us engineer new solutions for metadata extraction, workflow analysis, operational monitoring, and intelligent automation that enhance the experience for Ops users. This work includes building services that make our data products easier to discover, easier to trust, and easier to access. You will work closely with product leads, data governance partners, architects, and Ops stakeholders to translate ideas into engineered solutions that can scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Built Python based integration points that connect Alteryx workflows and PowerBl with DataZone to support governed data access and metadata exchange
  
• Design and deliver reusable Python utilities that automate workflow analysis, operational monitoring, logging, dependency mapping, and metadata extraction
  
• Engineer connectors and plugins that help Ops users access Snowflake and other firm datasets through simplified and governed interfaces
  
• Develop microservices and lightweight backend components that support data ingestion, validation, lineage, gntichement, and secure data access
  
• Build automated frameworks for data quality checks and workflow performancе analysis
  
• Partner with architects to design scalable patterns for API integration, metadata modelling, and automation pipelines. Collaborate closely with product teams, Ops partners, and governance teams to convert requirements into clear technical designs.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualification:

• Advanced Python Programming: Extensive experience with Python, including proficiency in asynchronous programming, multithreading, and multiprocessing.
  
• API Development and Integration: Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and familiarity with Graphol.
  
• Data Manipulation and Analysis: Proficiency with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Ryspark, and SQLAlghemy for data manipulation and analysis.
  
• Plugin/Extension Development: Experience in developing plugins or extensions for data visualization tools like PowerBl, Alteryx, or similar.
  
• Data Access and Security: Understanding of OAuth, SAML, and other authentication protocols, with experience in implementing secure data access solutions.
  
• Database Management: Proficiency with both SQL and at least one NoSQL technology.
  
• Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, including services like Lambda and container services.
  
• Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
  
• Version Control and CI/CD: Strong experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  
  

• Testing Frameworks: Proficiency in using testing frameworks such as RyTest, Unittest, or Nose for automated testing.
  
  

Good to Have Skills:

• Data Visualization Tools: Experience with PowerBl, including DAX and Power Query, and understanding of its API for custom visualizations.
  
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, with knowledge of Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
  
• Machine Learning and Al: Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
