Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python frameworks such as Django and Flask, along with extensive experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs. You will play a key role in architecting robust applications, mentoring junior developers, and driving best practices across the development lifecycle.

Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB (preferred).

Experience with ORM libraries.

Knowledge of API authentication methods (JWT, OAuth).

Proficiency in Git and version control systems.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.

Build and manage web applications using Django and Flask frameworks.

Develop, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

Architect efficient, reusable, and reliable code following best practices.

Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps teams, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

Implement data storage solutions (SQL/NoSQL databases).

Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.

Ensure test coverage through unit testing and integration testing.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
