Senior QA Engineer

Senior QA Engineer for validating Web Security components running in AWS. Designs, develops, and executes systematic software tests to uphold quality standards across McAfee products. Collaborates with development teams to analyze results, identify root causes, and drive issue resolution. Writes and maintains test plans, procedures, and documentation. Provides technical feedback to enhance product reliability and performance.

This is a Hybrid position located in Bangalore. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis, typically 1 to 6 times a month. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the Role:

• Collaborate with a passionate and skilled engineering team to design and implement innovative solutions.
• Work across a variety of technologies, including Python, Java, Go, AWS, and Linux.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain robust test automation frameworks to ensure continuous integration and delivery.
• Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and post-production support.
• Engage with architects and cross-functional peers to solve complex business problems through scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Continuously learn and grow by experimenting with new technologies and taking on increasing responsibilities.

About You:

• Hands-on experience with multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, and Go
• Extensive Working experience of Linux environments and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Pytest, Robot Framework).
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and quality engineering principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and related DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for testing data-driven applications.
• Good to have: Exposure to performance or security testing, experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and a solid understanding of microservices architecture.
