Job Title: Sr. QA Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and process improvements. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify bugs, design test strategies, and deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand features and technical implementations.
- Conduct regression, functional, performance, and integration testing.
- Create and maintain test plans and test documentation.
- Help improve QA processes and test strategies across the organization.
- Participate in code reviews and provide QA input on new features.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software QA, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting for data validation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with agile/scrum development processes.
- Knowledge of cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
