Senior QA Engineer

• Requirements Analysis:
• Collaborate with collaborators and Business Analysts to review and analyze detailed requirements for application development projects.
• Test Strategy and Planning:
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, including defining test objectives, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Test Case Design and Execution:
• Build and implement detailed test cases and test scenarios covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Defect Management:
• Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution by the development team.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Act as a liaison between the QA team, developers, and project managers to ensure clarity in requirements, testing processes, and timelines.
• Automation Testing (Optional):
• If applicable, design and implement automated test scripts using relevant tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Change Management:
• Assist in developing change management strategies to facilitate the smooth adoption of new applications and systems.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Contribute to process improvements, QA standard methodologies, and adoption of new tools and technologies to improve the overall quality of application development.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in quality analysis or quality assurance for application development or software projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Postman, or similar.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL for data validation and testing.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to identify edge cases and complex scenarios.
• Ability to think critically and provide actionable feedback to improve application quality.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with technical and non-technical collaborators.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with QA processes, tools, and standard methodologies for ensuring application quality.
• Experience automating testing tasks.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT field.
• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
