Job Description
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright and scripting languages like JavaScript or TypeScript. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of test automation frameworks, experience working with ERP systems (preferred), and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Write clean and scalable automated test scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure end-to-end quality.
- Plan, execute, and report test results for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Analyze test failures and report defects with precision.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation within ERP workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in QA Automation, with a strong focus on web application testing.
- Expertise in Playwright for test automation.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with REST API testing and tools like Postman is must to have
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Exposure to ERP systems is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of performance or load testing tools
