We have urgent opening for Sr. QA Engineer.

We offer services like software & application development, mobile application development, data analysis & KPO services & RPA & Automation. Our product is targeted at secondary used IT product across America and Europe & provide technology & data driven decision making system to end users. We have office in Pune.

Responsibilities

· Requirement Analysis & Collaboration:

• Critically evaluate user stories, use cases, and requirements to ensure they are clear, achievable, and aligned with project goals.
• Actively engage with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, development) to gain a comprehensive understanding of requirements, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
• Craft detailed requirement documentation to serve as a reference throughout the development and testing process.
• Decompose requirements into epics, stories, and tasks, creating a structured framework for development and testing efforts.

 Test Planning & Execution:

• Design and document comprehensive test cases that cover both planned and existing functionalities.
• Rigorously execute all levels of testing, including system, integration, and regression, to identify and address defects early in the development cycle.
• Leverage SQL queries to create and analyse test data, ensuring thorough testing scenarios.
• Utilize Postman to perform API testing, validating the functionality and reliability of application interfaces.

 Test Automation & Defect Management:

• Design and develop automation scripts as needed to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
• Proactively detect, track, and report software defects and inconsistencies, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.

 Quality Assurance & Communication:

• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle, continuously seeking to improve the quality of the product.
• Provide clear and concise documentation to support testing efforts and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Regularly communicate the progress of testing activities, providing visibility into completed tasks, upcoming milestones, and any potential roadblocks.
• Deliver accurate estimates for assigned tasks, supported by clear and detailed justifications to ensure transparency and effective planning.

SkillsetRequired / Mandatory

î Critically evaluate user stories, use cases, and requirements for clarity, feasibility, and alignment with project goals.

î Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of requirements.

î Design and document comprehensive test cases for both existing and planned functionalities.

î Rigorously execute system, integration, and regression testing to identify and resolve defects.

î Proactively detect, track, and report software defects and inconsistencies.

î Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile development process.

î Regularly communicate testing progress, milestones, and potential issues.

î Provide accurate estimates for assigned tasks with clear justifications.

î Craft detailed requirement documentation.

î Utilize SQL queries to create and analyze test data.

î Use Postman for API testing.

Preferable / Nice to have

î Experience in any of the Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, XP or Iterative

î Design and develop automation scripts to increase testing efficiency.

Qualifications

î B.sc/BE/B.tech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

î Minimum 5+ years of experience working in Projects
