Senior QA Engineer

We are a world-class engineering team that encompasses front end (UI), back end (API / Java / Node.js), mobile (Android/IOS), and Big Data engineering to deliver compelling products.

You will be a key member of the engineering team, responsible for ensuring the quality of our data products. Youll have the opportunity to work with the C-level staff, business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to develop the next-generation customer data management and marketing software.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders and the development team in a continuous flow in all phases of the software development cycle to identify and create test scenarios and test cases for functional and non-functional testing.
• Plan, design, and execute manual and automated testing throughout agile development iterations.
• Use the latest test automation tools/technologies to develop automation framework to improve test robustness and efficiency.
• Document test strategy, test plans, and test cases based on requirements.
• Take initiatives and lead the effort to continuously refine and improve test processes.
• Mentor other QA Engineers on the tools and techniques used by the team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven working experience in software quality assurance.
• Expertise and applied knowledge of Quality Assurance and Testing best practices.
• Passion for quality and great attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as UFT, Selenium, Protractor, JMeter.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, data pipelines, and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch.
• Experience working in dockerized applications.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
