Senior QA engineer (Bengaluru)

Overview

We are the development center for Sber's India branch.

The Agile team consists of 200+ IT professionals with the potential to grow to 500+ in 2025.

You have a unique opportunity to participate in building an Automated Banking System (ABS) for Sber's Indian branch from scratch.

The system consists of a set of modules - core, accounting, reporting, credit and non-credit products, internet banking and anti-fraud system. You can directly participate in the creation of any of them, influence the architecture, the quality, the processes, the way they should look in the end.

Our pros are no legacy, no complicated, hardened processes, modern technology.

Our goal is to make our own, small Sber for the foreign market.

Responsibilities

• conducting functional, regression and integration testing
• test model maintenance
• identification and registration of defects
• preparation of protocols based on test results
• work in an agile/scrum methodology in close collaboration with the rest of the team.
  
  

• 7 years' experience in a similar role
• understanding the software life cycle, defects
• experience with documentation (requirements, specifications, etc.)
• web application testing experience
• experience with test model
• experience with bug tracking systems and test documentation systems (Jira, HP ALM)
• ability to localize and describe found defects
• experience writing SQL queries
• experience with JSON, XML
• experience with the developer console in the browser
• experience in REST API testing (additional plus experience with CURL)
• ability to work in a team (propose and discuss ideas, argue your position)
• focus on improving the quality of testing, self-learning, initiative, ability and desire to work in a team
• contribute to the development of the project
