Position: Senior QA Engineer - AI-Powered Interactive Platform
Who You Are
You're a QA automation expert who thrives on testing complex AI-powered systems: real time story sessions, dynamic content generation, and multimodal user experiences. You build robust test frameworks that can validate both technical functionality and creative user experiences.

You're a QA automation expert who thrives on testing complex AI-powered systems: real time story sessions, dynamic content generation, and multimodal user experiences. You build robust test frameworks that can validate both technical functionality and creative user experiences.
What You'll Build
- E2E Test Architecture: Comprehensive Playwright test suites covering responsive UI, real-time story sessions, and interactive story editors with complex state management AI Testing Framework: Automated validation for AI-generated content including narrative coherence, fallback behavior, toxicity detection, and prompt response quality
- Real-time Session Testing: WebSocket-powered story progression validation with typing animations, choice branching, XP tracking, and multi-session persistence
- Performance & Load Testing: Story loading optimization, AI response time monitoring, animation smoothness validation across devices and network conditions
- CI/CD Integration: GitHub Actions pipelines with pre-merge gating, AI endpoint health checks, failover simulations, and visual regression testing
- Core: Playwright, Vitest, React Testing Library, Pytest, Postman Frontend: React 19+, Vite, Tailwind, Framer Motion testing patterns
- Backend: FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSocket validation, async test patterns AI
- Integration: OpenAI, Together.ai, Hugging Face APIs, LangChain orchestration testing
- Infrastructure: GitHub Actions, Vercel, Docker, Sentry, PostHog monitoring
- How to test AI systems that generate unpredictable but valid content
- Database testing for complex story relationships and user-generated content
- WebSocket management and real-time interaction flow validation
- Background job testing for long-running AI generation processes
- Security patterns for creative platforms with user-generated content
- Built testing frameworks for AI/ML products, chatbots, or creative tools
- Experience with LLM prompt engineering and agentic AI flows
- Know how to build LLM-based automated QA agents for content validation
- Background in story-driven games, gamified content, or interactive fiction
- Audit existing test coverage and identify critical AI/story flow gaps
- Implement comprehensive E2E suite for core story creation and gameplay
- Build AI response validation framework for content quality and safety
- Establish CI/CD integration with automated quality gates
