Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Test Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives and drive the testing efforts for our cutting-edge software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong manual and automated testing expertise, including web, mobile, and API testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks for web and mobile platforms using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or equivalent.

• Test Strategy and Planning: Define test strategies, create comprehensive test plans, and prepare test cases based on functional requirements and user stories.

• Bug Management: Identify, document, and prioritize defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. Track and ensure timely defect resolution.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless testing integration into the development lifecycle.

• End-to-end testing: Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and APIs.

• API Testing: Design and develop API automation scripts using RestAssured

• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of quality.

• Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging testing technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience:

• 8+ years of software quality assurance experience with manual and automation testing expertise.

• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for script development.

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git.

• Extensive experience with REST API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI

• Hands-on experience with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

Testing Expertise: • Proven experience in web, mobile, and API testing, focusing on automation.

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.

• Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

• Experience with Android and iOS application testing.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead and motivate teams while managing multiple priorities

• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and adaptable to change.

Preferred Qualifications: • Proficiency with BDD/TDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow

• Knowledge of database testing and SQL for backend validation.

• Collaborative and inclusive work environment.

• ISTQB or similar testing certifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
