About The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Validate Team, where you’ll contribute to both software development and testing efforts. This role involves a mix of manual, automated, and performance testing, depending on team priorities. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and QA leads to enhance quality standards and deliver reliable, high-performing software.

Responsibilities

• Contribute early in the software development lifecycle to improve standards, design, and testability.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to promote quality and define meaningful metrics.
• Develop automated tests alongside feature development, focusing on scalability and reuse.
• Support and enhance existing test frameworks in a CI/CD environment.
• Select appropriate testing methods (API, integration, UI, manual) based on team and product needs.
• Share knowledge and mentor others to foster a collaborative learning culture.
• Research and recommend tools to improve performance testing and overall product quality.
• Assist in creating and executing performance test plans with the QA team.
  
  

Requirement

• Strong experience in software testing, automation, or quality engineering (Java preferred).
• Strong experience with API testing and tools like Rest Assured.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or Playwright.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience designing and executing automated tests across different layers (Unit, Integration, UI).
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Ability to develop performance test scenarios and environments
