Job Summary

Position Title: Senior Consultant — SAP GTS Testing

Location: Hybrid / Remote

Duration: 12–18 months

Reports To: Test Manager

Level: Senior Test Consultant

1. Role Summary

Support end-to-end SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) testing, ensuring validation of compliance checks, customs processes, and integration with SD, MM, and logistics modules in an S/4HANA transformation.

2. Key Responsibilities

Design and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data for GTS processes
Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
Validate compliance management processes including sanctions and embargo checks
Validate customs processes including import/export declarations and duty calculations
Ensure integration testing with SD (sales), MM (procurement), and logistics execution
Execute end-to-end global trade scenarios (order delivery export compliance shipment)
Perform data validation for product classification (HS codes, tariff classification)
Manage defect lifecycle including logging, tracking, and retesting
Support UAT cycles and coordinate with business stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate all testing activities for sap s/4hana projects, including test planning, test case creation, test execution, and defect management.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure testing aligns with the overall project objectives.
3. Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for sap s/4hana modules.
4. Conduct performance testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (uat) for sap s/4hana solutions.
5. Provide guidance and support to junior testing team members and ensure testing best practices are followed.
6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on testing progress and identify any potential issues or risks.
Skill Requirements
1. In-depth knowledge of sap s/4hana modules and architecture.
2. Proficiency in creating test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for sap s/4hana.
3. Experience in conducting performance testing, regression testing, and uat for sap s/4hana solutions.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
6. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
