The Impact

The Scrum Master position at S&P Global works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of customer value. The Scrum Master contributes significantly to their team’s success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on predefined business priorities.

In this role, you will be working with a team of enthusiastic members supporting our critical technology systems and guiding our business partners & end users with industry best practices, solution design, and creating long term value to our customers.

• Act as Servant leader to an Agile team
• Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from agile best practices and values
• Coach Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement
• Guide the Agile team to consistently delivery customer value
• Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams
• Facilitate Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team.
• Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency
  
  

• 6-10 yrs experience leading teams as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Self confidence
• Strong sense of urgency when needed
• Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Team-first, servant leader mentality
  
  

• Certified SAFe Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or CSM
• Scaled Agile and/or Scrum experience.
