YOUR TASKS

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SDET / QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and quality engineering. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high software quality through robust automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities



Bring 6–8 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality engineering.



Work collaboratively in a cross-functional agile team with Test Leads, Developers, and Product Managers.



Take shared ownership of end-to-end product quality across web, mobile, and backend systems.



Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable automated test frameworks using Python and Pytest.



Implement and execute UI automation using Selenium and Appium for web and mobile platforms.



Perform API automation testing for RESTful services and validate data formats, responses, and workflows.



Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.



Contribute to performance and non-functional testing to identify system bottlenecks and reliability issues.



Continuously improve QA practices, test coverage, automation stability, and execution efficiency.



Actively participate in code reviews and defect triage.

Your Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications



Strong experience in Python programming with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.



Hands-on expertise with Pytest for test automation and framework development.



Proven experience with Selenium and Appium for end-to-end UI automation.



Solid experience in API testing, including REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON payloads, and validations.



Exposure to performance testing tools and concepts (e.g., load, stress, and endurance testing).



Practical knowledge of CI/CD practices, including test execution and reporting using Jenkins and GitHub.



Strong understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and best practices.



Good working knowledge of HTML and CSS for UI validation and debugging.



Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.



Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Desirable / Good-to-Have Skills



Experience with System integration testing.



Automotive Domain Knowledge.



Basics of Embedded systems.



ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification.
