As a Senior Software Developer - Cluster, you will design and implement advanced HMI solutions for digital instrument clusters and Head-Up Displays (HUDs). You will work with Unity on QNX-based embedded platforms, translating cutting-edge UX/UI designs into production-grade applications optimized for performance, safety, and real-time automotive requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop HMI applications for instrument clusters and HUDs using Unity on QNX-based embedded platforms.
• Translate UX/UI designs (Figma, Adobe assets, motion prototypes) into Unity components with pixel-perfect fidelity.
• Implement animations, rendering pipelines, and modular UI frameworks optimized for embedded performance.
• Integrate vehicle data (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) into HMI applications.
• Conduct debugging, profiling, and performance tuning to meet strict real-time and safety constraints.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with UX/UI, simulation, and platform teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Support hybrid platform integration (Android + QNX) and validate behaviors with Qt/QML simulations.
• Contribute to Agile development workflows with CI/CD, source control, and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, or related field (BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS).
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, C#, and Python.
• Proficiency in Unity engine (UI/UX implementation, prefab structuring, animation, asset bundling, runtime optimization).
• Skilled in Figma interpretation, Adobe Photoshop/AfterEffects, and 3D content pipelines (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
• Experience in automotive cluster/HUD development on QNX platforms.
• Knowledge of QNX Neutrino RTOS, Hypervisor, and automotive HMI architectures.
• Strong debugging and profiling skills (GDB, JTAG, Lauterbach, ADB, system logs).
• Familiarity with graphics APIs (OpenGL ES, Vulkan, GLSL/HLSL shaders).
• Experience with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA in Agile/Scrum setups.

Preferred expertise:

• Performance tuning for embedded HMIs (boot time, FPS, memory).
• Shader-based visual effects and real-time rendering optimization.
• Hybrid platform integration (Android + QNX) with JNI, AIDL, NDK.
• Converting R&D concepts into production-grade, safety-compliant solutions.
