We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic and innovative software development team. You will play a critical role in the development of our proprietary software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft technologies and a proven ability to thrive within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a small team of developers in a Rapid Application Development (RAD) environment with a strong emphasis on Agile delivery.
- Develop and maintain software for large-scale systems with long life cycles, tailored to multiple customers with
- varying configurations. Apply your technical expertise in ASP.NET, C# and MS SQL.
- Knowledge of the .NET Framework is expected, which is our current platform, though familiarity with .NET 6+ is a plus, which we will be transitioning to.
- Use developer tools such as Jira and GitHub.
- A strong background in application software development using ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL, and the .NET Framework.
- Previous experience in the Food Production Sector is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with developer tools such as Jira and GitHub.
- While not essential, holding Microsoft certifications in the relevant areas would be beneficial
- Good communication and documentation skills are essential.
- Work timing - UK time zone
- We will prefer candidates who provide a strong cover letter describing why they are a perfect choice for the role and are immediately available.
