About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript
2. Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Azure Functions and Microsoft Azure services
3. Develop and optimize PostgreSQL databases and ensure high performance
4. Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless system communication
5. Implement microservices architecture and manage distributed systems
6. Integrate AI/LLM services (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into backend workflows
7. Develop AI-powered features, intelligent automation, and RAG-based solutions
8. Work with vector databases and AI agent frameworks for advanced applications
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
10. Maintain code quality using Git, best practices, and modern development tools
11. Ensure application security, performance monitoring, and observability
12. Follow AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices

Other Requirements:

1. 1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
2. 2. 1–2 years of backend development experience
3. 3. Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript
4. 4. Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and Azure cloud ecosystem
5. 5. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques
6. 6. Experience with REST API design and development
7. 7. Understanding of microservices and distributed system architecture
8. 8. Experience with Git and Agile methodologies
9. 9. Exposure to AI/LLM integrations (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
10. 10. Knowledge of prompt engineering and RAG concepts
11. 11. Familiarity with vector databases (Qdrant, Azure AI Search, etc.)
12. 12. Experience with AI agents and automation workflows
13. 13. Familiarity with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted development tools
14. 14. Understanding of AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices
