Job DescriptionLooking for a skilled Java Programmer at the IC3 level to join our high-performing software development team. As a key individual contributor, the employee will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications to support Oracle’s world-class solutions and services. The ideal candidate combines robust technical expertise with problem-solving skills and collaborates effectively within a global engineering environment. Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud), familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and exposure to microservices architecture will be a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, the employee will be responsible for developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Responsibilities will include Design, implement, and maintain scalable Java-based applications with high reliability and performance.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions per Oracle standards.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and Oracle’s coding guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.
