We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in AEM Testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our AEM-based web applications and components.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in testing across different AEM environments while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing of AEM-based web applications, templates, and components
- Validate workflows, content authoring functionalities, and DAM assets across environments
- Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure robust application performance
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and content authors to define and validate requirements
- Identify, document, and track defects, following through the defect management lifecycle
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Write and maintain basic automation scripts for regression and sanity suites
- Use tools like JIRA, TestRail/Xray, and browserstack for defect tracking and test management
- Leverage browser developer tools to inspect and analyze AEM page structures
- Ensure adherence to QA methodologies and maintain alignment with SDLC and Agile/Scrum processes
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in testing AEM Sites on both author and publish environments
- Strong understanding of AEM authoring concepts including templates, components, workflows, and assets
- Hands-on experience with browser dev tools for inspecting AEM page architecture and performance
- Basic automation skills using Selenium, Robot Framework, TestNG, Python, or Java
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail/Xray, and browserstack or similar platforms
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum principles
