Position: Senior Software Engineer - Data Analyst

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Work with Teradata databases to perform high-volume data analysis and support enterprise-level reporting needs.
• Understand business and technical requirements to create and manage Source to Target Mapping (STM) documentation.
• Collaborate with business analysts and domain SMEs to map banking-specific data such as transactions, accounts, customers, products, and regulatory data.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, data quality issues, and actionable insights.
• Participate in data migration, data lineage, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and security protocols are followed.
• Support testing and validation efforts during system upgrades or new feature implementations.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Advanced SQL – Joins, subqueries, window functions, performance tuning.
• Teradata – Query optimization, utilities (e.g., BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad), DDL/DML.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, or custom SQL-based ETL pipelines).
• Hands-on in preparing STM (Source to Target Mapping) documents.
• Familiarity with data modeling and data warehouse concepts (star/snowflake schema).
• Proficient in Excel and/or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) for data visualization and analysis.
