Senior Software Engineer - (Functional Testing)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts in an agile e-commerce environment.

This individual will play a critical role in driving testing strategies, reporting on QA metrics, and mentoring junior team members while fostering a strong collaborative atmosphere to ensure product excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee junior testers in defining and executing QA scopes across projects
• Collect and analyze QA metrics and statistics, presenting them to the Test Lead
• Conduct meetings regularly with Delivery Managers and development teams to align on quality goals
• Handle complex test scenarios and manage comprehensive regression testing efforts
• Demonstrate extensive technical expertise in testing methodologies and practices
• Maintain a strong product/start-up mindset while addressing and solving challenges effectively
• Advocate for and enforce a robust end-to-end e-commerce test strategy

Requirements

• 5-8 years of professional experience in quality assurance or software engineering
• Expertise in testing REST APIs within a Cloud environment using tools such as Postman
• Strong problem-solving, planning, organizational, and prioritization abilities
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Background in working under tight deadlines with a stress-resistant and proactive approach
• Capability to lead and mentor teams while demonstrating high accountability
