About the Role

We are seeking a Senior iOS/tvOS Engineer with a passion for building high-performance, user-centric media applications. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Apple platforms, a solid background in Swift/SwiftUI, and hands-on experience working on tvOS applications in a media or streaming-focused environment. You’ll play a key role in designing and developing robust applications that deliver seamless video playback experiences across Apple devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain tvOS and iOS applications with a strong focus on video playback and middleware integration.
• Implement and manage in-app purchasing and subscription workflows for monetization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver best-in-class user experiences.
• Utilize Bitrise, Git, and Jira for CI/CD and agile project management workflows.
• Manage third-party dependencies using CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality, scalability, and performance.
• Architect applications using VIPER and MVVM design patterns for clean and maintainable codebases.
• Proactively debug and optimize app performance, reliability, and security.
• Keep current with the latest iOS/tvOS SDKs, Swift language enhancements, and streaming media technologies.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing apps for Apple platforms (iOS/tvOS).
• Strong command of Swift and SwiftUI.
• Recent (within 3 years) hands-on experience building tvOS applications for a media company.
• Proficient in integrating third-party video middleware and streaming solutions.
• Deep understanding of iOS/tvOS frameworks and Xcode environment.
• Experience with in-app purchase and subscription mechanisms.
• Familiarity with tools such as Bitrise, Git, and Jira.
• Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and architectural best practices.
• Comfortable writing and maintaining unit tests.
• Working knowledge of VIPER and MVVM architectures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced media or OTT (Over-The-Top) streaming environment.
• Passion for clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Contributions to open-source iOS/tvOS projects or a strong portfolio of shipped apps.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
