Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and take a leading role in enhancing and supporting the Markit EDM platform.
This position combines technical expertise with leadership capabilities, ensuring high-quality development, implementation, and maintenance of EDM functionalities while collaborating across departments.

- Lead BAU initiatives and support business and technology teams in a client-focused environment
- Take ownership of EDM development and integration projects while ensuring timely delivery
- Mentor and guide a team of 8-10 members in EDM-related tasks and implementations
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues while maintaining incident/problem management standards
- Maintain and support production and test environments with consistent quality control
- Facilitate effective communication with clients, business users, and internal teams to align project progress and objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and drive solutions
- Perform detailed analysis and implement high-quality EDM functionality to meet data integration objectives
- 8+ years of experience working with EDM and SQL development
- Strong knowledge of Markit EDM platform across data sets such as Market, Instrument, Party, Reference, Corporate Actions, and Historical Time-Series
- Background in application support, including first/second line support ownership
- Proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts with business users and stakeholders (Preferred C1/C1+ English level)
- Understanding of project and team management in high-pressure environments
