Senior Software Engineer - ServiceNow Developer -ITSM

About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (ServiceNow Developer) with deep expertise in ServiceNow, particularly within ITSM Workspaces. This role involves designing and developing scalable solutions, enhancing user experience, and driving platform efficiency across ITSM modules.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 4+years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow ITSM Workspace components including dashboards, widgets, and UI elements.
• Customize core ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Implement and optimize workflows, business rules, client/server scripts, and integrations.
• Ensure platform performance through analytics, process mining, and KPI tracking.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Maintain documentation and support platform upgrades and enhancements.
  
  

Job Expectations:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM frameworks.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist certification preferred.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and Performance Analytics.
• Familiarity with integration tools and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
