As a Senior Software Engineer, Voice in the Product Engineering team at Cyara, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and optimization of the software solutions that make up the Cyara portfolio. You will gather product requirements from Product Management and turn them into working software that satisfies market needs. You will develop, revise, and maintain software artifacts and product engineering processes/methodologies to meet functional, scale, and performance criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Software Development: Utilize cutting-edge software development tools to drive innovation, efficiency, and quality in the development of Call Engine (CEN), and related components like Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text to Speech (TTS), Voice Quality etc.
- Problem Solving and UX Delivery: Address challenging problems to deliver impactful UX solutions quickly, efficiently, and with high quality.
- Scalable Systems Architecture: Contribute to the evolution of systems architecture, ensuring scalability with the growing demands of the business.
- Collaborative Cross-Functional Work: Share knowledge and communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) across the organization to align feature development with overall business objectives.
- Problem Identification and Resolution: Analyse, identify, and address problems or bugs to ensure a seamless and error-free user interface.
- Active Participation in Agile Processes: Engage actively in Agile team meetings, contributing to iterative development processes and adhering to best practices.

- Solid understanding of Contact Centre technologies including Voice and IVR
- Strong analytical, design, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and customer focus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Advanced programming skills with a willingness to learn new technologies in all parts of the stack
- Experience working with the full technology stack including the following but not limited to:
Front-End:
- Familiarity with JavaScript knowledge – Preferably React experience
- Familiar in using GraphQL in combination with React for modern stack development
- Experience with Telephony User Interface (TUI)
- Familiarity with Webpack and front-end packaging
- Familiarity with form management tools such as React-final-form
Back-End
- Microservices Architecture: Experience in building scalable applications using microservice architecture
- .NET Framework Proficiency: Strong knowledge in Microsoft’s .NET framework, including C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core
- Experience with C++ or Rust and interoperability between different languages
- Experience with Linux and Virtualization
- Database Development and ORM: Experience in database development and using ORM tools like Entity Framework or Dapper, with a preference for MSSQL knowledge
- Concurrent and Parallel Programming: Solid understanding of concurrency, parallelism, and event-driven architecture
- Familiarity with VoIP protocols such as SIP & RTP and networking protocols such as TCP & UDP
- Familiarity with low-level programming from kernel to network space
Deployment
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for defining and provisioning cloud infrastructure through code.
- Experience with AWS services such as Fargate, Kubernetes, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Elastic Beanstalk.
- Skilled in working with CI/CD pipelines using Buildkite, CircleCI and Jenkins.
