Job Description Summary:
What you need to know about the role- As a Senior Software Engineer for the Quality org, you will champion the quality assessment of product deliverables for the PayPal Consumer iOS, Android, and web applications. Ensuring proper automation test strategy, planning & flawless execution will mitigate risks early in the software development lifecycle for experiences that will engage and benefit our valued customers. We work closely with our application engineering, design, content, and product teams to test and iterate on new solutions to customers’ problems. We also engage with platform and infrastructure teams dedicated to supporting our Continuous Integration, Quality, and Release processes.

Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:

• Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
• Advises immediate management on project-level issues
• Guides junior engineers
• Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
• Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
