Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and SQL.
- Work with structured and semi-structured data from diverse sources.
- Develop data transformations, data models, and ETL processes in a cloud environment.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to meet data needs.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in data workflows and queries.
Mandatory Skills:
- Advanced SQL – proficient in writing complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, etc.
- Databricks – hands-on experience with Databricks notebooks, Delta Lake, and Spark (PySpark or Scala).
- Experience working in cloud platform such as Azure (preferably with Databricks integration).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
Work Experience:
- 3 years minimum related work experience
