Senior Software Engineer

Role Summary

This role is an important member of backend team responsible for providing robust APIs and services to facilitate the modernization of the rest of the system and improving integration with 3rd parties.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices.
• Collaborate on code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers across different teams.
• Participate in planning and estimation across multiple projects.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for services and APIs.
• Write unit/integration tests and ensure adherence to security best practices.

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with C# for backend development, experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and experience with creating unit tests for code
• 5+ years of experience in server development, cloud systems, networking, or database technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud including services for storage, networking, and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS, or AKS).
• Experience with Docker and containerization for developing, deploying, and managing applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience automating deployments using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Familiarity with database technologies (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) and caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached).
• Knowledge of DICOM and medical imaging standards is a plus.
