As a Software Engineer at Ericsson, you will be essential in creating, modifying, and enhancing software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on tasks that can vary from fixing code errors, adapting code to new hardware, or upgrading the software's interface. What you will do:
- Participate in sprint planning and estimate functional requirements in line with the Ericsson solution process.
- Understand business requirements and high-level solution design to develop use case realizations tailored towards project goals.
- Analyze user stories and discern required activities to effectively implement these stories.
- Comprehend end-to-end data flow, processes, and implemented design patterns in the solution.
- Document low-level software solution implementation by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Write unit test cases for code testing and ensure existing source code/builds do not fail.
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in frontend development using React.js, with strong knowledge of modern component design, hooks, and performance optimization
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Deep understanding of state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, and Context API for handling complex application states
- Skilled in designing and developing RESTful APIs, integrating with backend services, and implementing secure session management mechanisms
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles; familiar with CSS preprocessors like SASS and LESS
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipeline creation, build/release automation, and enterprise collaboration
- Experience with unit and integration testing, including writing and executing automated test cases using Cypress
- Familiarity with code quality and security tools such as Fortify and SonarQube to ensure secure and maintainable codebases
- Strong proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Proven ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and iterative delivery.
